Can it get ANY hotter??

Holy Cow!  It is just WAY too hot!  I feel like a salt lick some days!
The good thing- I am getting a lot of work done- because I am not leaving the house!  I have been working on lots of new tours- for 2013- I have finalized the Currier & Ives Christmas in Vermont- which is sure to be a very popular tour- and I have added the very tongue-in-cheek whimsical SPAMALOT tour.  I will also have one more slum run this year- A HALLOWEEN MYSTERY SCAVENGER HUNT SLUM RUN.  Now that is a mouthful if ever I heard one!  Check out my website- www.outta-heretravel.com- and sign up for my newsletter so you never miss any of the way cool things I am doing!!
Hopefully much more to tell you in the near future- as always I have a lot of really big things in the works!!

Holy, Moly!!  This blog thing is tough!  I make a resolution and think that I will stick to it- and I do for quite some time- then things get away from me- and the next thing I know- it has been almost a year since I have updated this.  I am SOOOOO sorry!  How will anyone know all the exciting things I am doing and all the great places I have been if I don't update everyone??

In the past year I have been to Europe twice- on river cruises.  I have been to San Francisco to see a dear friend on opening night singing in "The Magic Flute", I have escorted numerous motor coach tours and I have set up a LOT of great tours.  Check out my website- there are tons of great places to go to!

I will try and keep writing something- at LEAST weekly- instead of annually!!

I am back in the office after being on tour for weeks!  I am sorry to say that my blogs have suffered because of my absence!
My goal in 2013 is to keep these updated every 2-3 days.  I apologize for not being more diligent in this- stay tuned for lots of items in the New Year!

FMCA RALLY A HUGE SUCCESS!!!

Well, the FMCA Rally in Madison this past week was a HUGE success!!!  There were over 2800 people attending and about 350 went on day tours that I developed and ran.  I tried to highlight the best that Madison and the area has to offer.  Tours included the Mustard Museum, the Capital Brewery, House on the Rock, Betty Lou Dinner Cruise and a rip-roaring good time at the Essenhaus.  The Stock the Fridge tour- with visits to Bavaria Sausage House, Penzy's, Metcalf's and Trader Joe's was a huge success.  I have also developed a number of special tours for a hotel group in Madison and am working with the Madison Visitors Bureau to host tours for incoming groups.  Next thing in the works???  A Madison Foody tour!! stay tuned- never a dull moment at Outta Here! A Family Mystery Tour!!

I am taking my family on a mystery tour this weekend.  What a great time!  August 1 is my mother's 80th birthday so we are planning a bash for her- lots of surprises, and I am sure quite a few gifts along the way.  I can't tell you anything about it- because my family MIGHT read these things and then the cat would be out of the bag so to speak!  I will update you all when we return.  If anyone knows my mom- Bobbye Lou- wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY on August 1st- or any day in August, I think she will be celebrating a LOT!!  If you DON'T know her---here she is with Maggie Mae!
